Master Chef Yip Wing Wah, the founder of Egg Custard Mooncake in Hong Kong and Master Chef Lai Wing Koon, a Michelin 2 Starred Chef and the only inheritor of Chef Yip Wing Wah, have meticulously prepared a variety of irresistible confectionery gifts, featuring our signature Michelin Palmiers, Tonggwoji, Mooncakes, Eggrolls and Crispy Cookies ,etc. In 2019, the Lava Mooncake of Imperial Patisserie has won the world’s highest award – the Grand Gold in Monde Selection. For the first time in the past 59 years, the first mooncake has ever won this highest honor and we are also honored to receive this recognition for a fifth consecutive year. In 2022, our pastries has won The Three Stars AA Taste Awards, which gives recognition to the quality and taste of our pastries.

The success of Imperial Patisserie relies on our professional culinary team including the founder of Custard Mooncake - Chef Yip Wing Wah and his sole inheritor Chef Lai Wing Koon. Chef Yip Wing Wah has worked as the Head of the Dim Sum Section of Spring Moon of The Peninsula Hong Kong for over 30 years. Michelin- starred Chef Lai Wing Koon has served as Head Chef for several luxurious hotels. Both of them have incorporated traditional craftsmanship and modern technology to handcraft a wide array of Mooncakes.

Monde Selection, is one of the world most authoritative and representative food award since 1961. Every year, more than 80 experts gather to evaluate and have a tasting of the food products from all over the world. With the unique craftsmanship, our two Master Chefs have garnered the Grand Gold Award from Monde Selection for 6 consecutive years and our Lava Mooncake is the first in receiving this award in Hong Kong.

Imperial Patisserie’s food manufacturing plant is built in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Standards and has received ISO22000:2018 and HACCP. All our mooncakes and pastries are halal certified.

Riding on the preceding success, we have created the Mooncake Gift Box with delicate paper art, featuring unique leather texture and embroidered lines on the box. On top of the double-layered square box in champagne gold and amber orange colour, we have also created the elongated box in celadon green and sky blue. In 2023, we have launched the new romantic pink and refreshing lemon yellow color to enhance the choice of mooncake boxes. The mooncake boxes can be recycled for use - become a jewelry box after the festive season.
